The environmental program “Where does garbage go” taken place in Hanoi from August 28 - 30 ended fruitfully. The Japanese friends appreciated the discussion with students from the Institute of Environmental Sciences and Technology – the main activity of program. Through this workshop, they learned even more about handling, sorting and recycling of garbage in case of Vietnam and Japan.
With the aim to provide international education understanding to students in not only culture, history but also global issues such as environment in different countries, Jissen Women's University, Tokyo, Japan coordinated with ID International Education JSC, and BrighterVietnam Program (under UNESCO Centre for International Education) organize an experiential learning program titled “Where does garbage go?" from 28 – 30 August, 2012 in Hanoi.
The Educational Summer Camp “Water the Mind” taken place from 23-29/07/2912 at Vũ Thê Lang High School in Việt Trì City, Phú Thọ Province ended fruitfully. 150 students of 11th grade, together with teachers, Vietnamese and International Volunteers experienced a lively and effective week, where they learnt various facts about water and participated in practical activities. The camp was impressed by the School and its message was spread to the community.
Of more than 200 applicants who want to become volunteers for Education Summer Camp 2012, Water the Mind of Brighter Vietnam, 40 best candidates have soaked in the inspired and friendly atmosphere for the second selection round. Also, this air is blended with some tough ingredients because the organization committee would choose only 10 candidates who are more suitable and more superb to volunteer with Brighter Vietnam.

A delegation of the Kazakhstan National Federation of UNESCO Clubs (KazFUCA) headed by Ms. Khanzada Yessenova, Vice president of KazFUCA visited Hanoi, Viet Nam on August 2011 to attend the 8th World Congress of UNESCO Clubs, Centers and Associations – taking place in Hanoi for the first time.
At the invitation of JICA (Japan International Cooperation Agency) in Vietnam, on 03rd September 2011, the Japanese delegation consisting of 8 third-year students and a professor of Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences in Jissen Women’s University, Tokyo arrived in Hanoi to learn about “Career orientation for women in Vietnam”.
The International Creativity Forum in 2011 on the theme “Autumn Symphony” was organized by Kazakhstan National Federation for UNESCO Clubs and School of Fine Arts and Technical Design named after A.Kasteyev UNESCO School, with the support of Almaty City Administration and Academy of Arts of the Republic
Continued the success from the first contest, this year, Goleşti Museum and Arges City Council (Romania) organized an international painting contest 2012 for youth with topic “The traditional wedding dress in my country”.
The Tsunami earthquake on 03 November 2012 in Japan has gone through, but the damage has still left up to present. Many people lost their homes, many children could not find their dearest ones. This seemingly endless pain is needed to be overcome. Japan as well as the whole world promised to cooperate closely to be successful in this battle.
