At the invitation of JICA (Japan International Cooperation Agency) in Vietnam, on 03rd September 2011, the Japanese delegation consisting of 8 third-year students and a professor of Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences in Jissen Women’s University, Tokyo arrived in Hanoi to learn about “Career orientation for women in Vietnam”.
ID International Education JSC was honored to serve as a bridge connecting them and related agencies in Hanoi to achieve the best purpose of this visit. In Vietnam, the delegation had the opportunity to meet and work with the General Department of Vocational Training, Women’s Union, the Institute of Women’s Central Staff to gain knowledge of vocational training issues for Vietnamese women, as well as the challenges experienced in the period of economic downturn.
Besides the main theme of the trip to Hanoi, both Vietnam and Japan also expressed their intentions to corporate closely in the future, especially their plan to send staff of the Institute to Jissen Women’s University for studying..
Before leaving Hanoi, the Japanese delegation had a chance to visit JICA’s Office in Hanoi. In addition, a two-day tour to Ha Long Bay also left a deep impression on them.
End of the visit in Vietnam, the delegation of Japan has obtained good results from the meeting with the authorities, and opened exchange programs with Viet Nam in the future. Many Japanese students also hoped to return to Vietnam to learn more about the culture of the country with over 4000 years of heritage.
